WE ARE HERE!!!!!

After leaving all of you at WHHS...we began our travels to JFK....Right around Bridgeport, Sean realized after making sure all of the students had their passports, that his and Mrs. Maher's passport, computer, camera and all were conveniently and safely locked in Mrs. Maher's office at WHHS!!!!

Ms. Marcella to the rescue....She got into Mrs. Maher's office and rushed the bag up to the Fairfield rest stop. On our way once again...We made it to the airport in plenty of time, boarded the plane early and then sat on the tarmac for about 45 minutes waiting to taxi out to the runway and with all that arrived on the Emerald Isle early!

We met our tour director Siobhan and went on a whirlwind introductory tour of Dublin. We visited the famous Kilmainham Gaol (Jail) where many of the politicos from the Easter rebellion were jailed and executed. Very interesting! Then lunch in Dublin on our own, then a brief walking tour, and saw the staue of Sweet Molly Malone (better known as the Tart with the Cart). Now, settled in to the hotel we are washing up and resting ready for dinner. An early night is in order for the sleepy travellers.
